Tethering on JB 3GS running iOS 4

I am trying to create MyWi on my iPhone 4. There is some issue with the hotspot. The wifi is not working at all. I am thinking to use JB Baseband and thinking to upgrade the phone. I am even ready to jailbreak the phone in case if there is some application which can provide wireless support on the phone. Does anyone is using such application for wifi support on iphone. The other issue is that when I use internet on the phone the battery goes down very fast. I use it continuously for hours.

I am not sure about iPhone 4 but in my phone I had caused some problems for some users receiving WiFi. All mobile Apple iPod Touch or iPhone every generation seem to be affected by this . The symptoms are varied reception and unwanted disconnections or in some extreme cases it cannot connect. Reset the network settings which might solve the problem but it is apparently not true of everyone and remember that you will lose all WEP or WPA wireless networks recorded.

Yes I confirm after the installation of a problem connecting to my WiFi network. I forgot my box and I am reconnected the same but there were more problems. I also noticed that the phone does not respond well over the 3G networks when WiFi networks becomes weak. Before when a connection in wifi with one segment the phone is taking very longtime to get connection. I was forced to cut access to wifi to restore a 3G connection.

My concern is that with my iphone and it worked very well for a few days and overnight. Then for some time I had kept wifi disabled in fact I had also saved the Settings menu with No-Fi. I have iphone and I had jailbreaked my phone. I already tried resetting network settings and activate the flight mode. For that turn off the iPhone and then turn it on and off in airplane mode. The other thing is completely erase the iphone.

In my case I activated and deactivated the phone once full and I am not able to find out that how it worked. I had jailbreaked my phone and added some application which can put up wifi support. The trick is to not touch the airplane mode if it activates the wifi. If you do that then you phone will work slow. And if by chance it works then you must not turn on and turn off your iphone. I think there is much to be done here.

The battery issue is mainly due to the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and SSH (for jailbroken iphones). Although they are very powerful and that their use is common and it is still preferable to disable when not in use although it may become pénervant having any time to reactivate them. Disable them anyway, and you will get some better battery life at least for some hours.

You must have one thing in mind that with batteries over the screen is bright the more is wasted. It is always preferable to lower the brightness and do not put it in depth all the time. You can still change it as compared to the brightness of the place where you are. The function of GPS navigation and 3G take a lot of load. When the 3G and GPS enabled then your battery is much consumed.
