    Intel X25-M G2 Model Numbers

So here my question is simple that weather a SSD is much more efficient in comparison to other drives. Does they give good value. Knowing that I will choose the 60GB version of the vertex or 80GB of intel. I can not find a test on the new turbo or vertex on the new Intel. I also want a way to find out the model number of the board. Where it is located, so that can help me out for tracing my drive online.

To say that SSD is quiet nice in comparison to hard drives. Intel announced its 34nm units SSD X25-M and lower prices for a market that is gradually closer to the end user. They have begun to appear analysis of these devices, which are highly recommended because of these new prices. The drive is nice and you can get the model number on the backside of the drive.

Intel has fixed some bugs and improved some sections like higher speed for random reads and writes, although some problems have also appeared as slight problems of fragmentation in end-use scenarios. It is found that there is improved sections of the hardware in this new drive. If you are going for the same then it is worth buying the same. The price is also nice.

If you talk about the performance then they offers you a 10 channel ultra-efficient and a very efficient leveling. It offers you low write amplification and gives you performance and reliability never before seen outside standard with 100 GB / day of records for 5 years. So that is really nice and great. I am using a transcend drive which I am going to give intel drives a try.

The SSD drives are compared on the base of controllers where there are already lots of companies like Vertex OCZ, GSkill Falcon UltraDrive ME SuperTalent, Crucial M225, Corsair Extreme, etc in the market. The main difference between these two revisions of the SSD drives provided in the level of SSD is that NAND Flash chips used. If you want to go for intel then it is better to go for the same.

Re: Intel X25-M G2 Model Numbers

I am using Intel X25-M 160GB SSD drive. It is using 20 chips on the 8GB one and there are now new chips used on 10 to 16 GB each. So this leaves the door open to a 320 GB version. This makes the Flash memory much faster, since Intel announced that it passes from 85 to 65μs latency read and write 115 to 85μs. In practice the shuffle blocks of 4 KB is identical to 35000 IOPS, while passing from 3300-6600 (in 80 GB) and 8600 (160 GB) IOPS for random writes of the same size.

Re: Intel X25-M G2 Model Numbers

Intel has revealed more details about the family of SSD drives it is going to give a much better SSD performance. Intel claimed a gain of 175x compared to hard drives, including changes in the last 10 years. Intel also said it wanted to achieve a particular rate of 250 MB / s read, an access time of 0.085 ms and a consumption floor. So that is going to give a really good performance on the same. For the model number thing just refer manual of see backside.
