Facetime not alerting

I have a bit crazy problem on my iPhone 4 as Facetime is not alerting me when somebody call me up. Actually I am able to do a Facetime call if I initiate it but when somebody calls me then my phone neither gives a ring nor it vibrates, It is not even going into the phone mode. What should i do now?

I was having the same issue on my iPhone 4 as i can facetime my friend and even he receives it without any problem but when it comes from my friend to me then it starts giving problems. Only way by which i come to know about this is a missed call but it is not possible to receive it. So can anybody please solve this problem?

It might be causing due to some third party application installed on your computer as many it happens that the third party application installed on your phone does interfere with the basic functionality of your phone. I would recommend you to uninstall all the third party application from your phone and then check that facetime is running properly or not.

Sometime it happens that everything is okay on your phone but then also some simple function does not works. These kind of problem gets solve many time by just resetting the functions or rebooting the phone. Go to the Settings on your iPhone 4 and go to the phone. Here you just have to disable the Facetime and then again re-enable it and now check that is there any difference in facetime problem or not.

I have noticed it that if you are using the WiFi network on your phone and simultaneously if you use Factime on that phone then Factime would not be working properly. I think same would be the case on your phone. First of all stop all the application which uses wifi on your phone and make sure that wifi is not enabled on your phone.

I have gone through an online manual of the facetime and have found that first make call then select FaceTime. By doing it in this manner, I am sure that an another person would be getting an offer to call in that way. This way of factime calling would be needed to use factime without any problem.
