    Check the steps:
1-open the MP4 (remove the 4 screws on the sides) mode off.
2-mp connect to the PC (with USB cable)
    3-turn on the MP4.
4-take a small screwdriver (one that was used to remove the screws) and place it gently on the large black component on the first 4 feet of the electronic circuit .... This will make your PC detects your MP4.
5-after detection of new hardware (AFDU )..... do the default installation files from windows and voila your MP4 back to life!

You need to make sure you click on the icon of the hardware in your PC (located in your system tray) to "safely remove hardware". Do not remove the USB cable until you get the clear signal saying "safe to remove hardware". NOTE - do not do this before removing the USB cable can damage your computer and / or your MP3 player. When all this is done, you can then read the book Audio your MP3 player. If you've followed all the steps above, you should find the reading of books Audio on your MP3 player.

You are using an earlier version of Windows Media Player, you can always follow the exact steps above. The only major difference is that instead of "sync", you will get "Copy." You can click it and follow the same steps above for your book Audio copied to your MP3 player.

    Check the steps:
    1. In Control Panel / System / Hardware, Select View Devices by connection.
    2. Then select the small logo showing Hi-Speed USB Mass Storage Device (or any other name with the word USB)
    3. Displayed below the drawing of a small hard drive, invisible in the other presentation (by type).
    4. Click on the hard disk.
    5. Windows that research informs and updates the driver previously installed with the CD that came with the key.
    6. If this does not work, do the same with other USB lines (usually 2 supports USB).
    7. Windows should then finally recognize the USB drive or MP3 player.

You also that it is imperative install the driver before plugging the device for the first time. If ever that were to happen, go to device properties and uninstall the device, uninstall the driver, then reinstall everything as it should. This is the source of at least 70% of problems.

Unplug your mp3, restart your computer. In the handler, if you still see USB product, uninstall it with a right click. Restart your computer, put it on your MP3 CD. Wait for the end of the installation, restart your computer and your mp3 branch. It should work. I go to "Device Manager" then I clicked twice <USB product> and then I clicked "Update Driver" when he told me to put a disc I put the CD "Driver Utility" that was included with the disc. And there, my computer has updated my drivers.
