    Logitech G5 switches OFF/ON randomly

Its been some around 2 years that i am using Logitech G5, and never seen any kind of problem while using it but from last two days it has started showing bit abnormal behavior. Actually it gets OFF automatically and just after few seconds it automatically gets ON and this happens anytime randomly. Is this a known issue by this mouse or is there anybody who have solved this problem.

There must be some loos connection with your mouse as it is working but due to some kind of break in power supply, It is getting OFF for some time it again gets working.
It is but obvious that there would be something wrong regarding the power supply for your mouse. I suggest you to use your mouse on some other computer system and check that the same problem is there or not.

This seems to be the problem with the usb port on which you have connected this mouse. I would like to tell you to use some other usb port provided on your computer system or you may use some other device on the same port where you have connected your mouse, by doing this you would be come to know that is there any problem with your usb port or not.

It might also happen that there would be loose connection inside the mouse itself which would be disturbing mouse to run continuously without any problem. I think you should try using this mouse on some other computer system so that you can confirm that there is no problem with the mouse.

If suppose none of the above is not resolving your problem then i guess you should directly contact with the Logitech who must be aware of these kind of problems.
As i have not seen any such problem with the Logitech G5 mouse on any forums so it sounds bit strange problem but hopefully it must not be any hardware problem.

I think you should directly contact with the dealer from where you have bought this mouse. As if there would be any kind of hardware problem then it will get solved from their side by replacing the device with the new one or may be the part of that device with the new one. I have not seen this kind of problems on any mouse.

This seems to be the hardware problem from the first view. Actually there could be some problem regarding the cable of your mouse or there could be something related to the weak signals but still weak signals does not switched off the mouse. There should be something wrong with the mouse which can only be detected by an computer engineer who has some experience with the internal hardware of mouse.
