As per your discussion it seems that your device that you are using is having the waste ink and it need to get serviced so that it can work properly. The printer should get serviced on a definite interval of time so that it will work all fine. So you should also give a service to the printer and see whether you are getting same issue or not.

I think that there might be some of the issue with the printer cartridge which is not properly connected or having the malfunction. So it is better to check whether the cartridge is properly connected not. Also if it is not working then replace the cartridge with the new one and check whether it is working or not. Hope this will help.

In that case i will advise you to take the help of the Cannon which might help you with the issue. Cannon support team might be aware of the issue and can fix the problem for free if printer is under the warranty period. So it is better to contact them and take the help from them. Hope that you will get the proper solution. Also let me know about the solution which you got from there.
