New Samsung PC studio not detecting Samsung Jet

I have just bought a new Samsung Jet mobile phone which when I connect to the computer, does not get detected. Ideally the Samsung PC studio should start when the phone is connected but it is not detecting the phone when connected. What can be the reason behind this issue? Can anybody explain why my New Samsung PC studio is not detecting Samsung Jet? Please help.

As the phone is not getting detected on the computer, the possible reason could be the connecting cord which you are using. The USB cord has many lines of conductors which may get damaged due to improper handling and storage. Try to change the connecting cord and see if the phone is getting detected or not.

I think the application which is installed on the computer is creating problems in detection of the phone. Proper working of the application depends on the proper working of all the files which are associated to the application. Hence remove the installed application from the computer and delete all the keys from the registry. Reboot the system and reinstall the application. Connect the phone and see if it gets detected.

Is the bluetooth on the phone turned on while connecting the phone to the computer? If yes then it could be the reason why the phone is not getting detected. If the bluetooth on the phone is switched on then by default the phone will try to connect to the computer using bluetooth and hence the computer is not detecting the phone. Turn off the bluetooth and then connect the phone using the data cable. Hopefully it will solve the problem.

The pc connections within phone settings should be set to pc studio for connecting the phone to the computer. There are various modes in which the phone can be connected to the computer. If the phone is set to connect in Mass storage mode then the PC studio will not detect the phone. Hence check the mode of the phone and see if it is set to PC studio mode.

Try doing the following troubleshooting procedure and see if it helps. Connect the phone to the computer using the data cable and then turn off the phone while connected. Close the PC studio and then restart the phone while connected. Check if the phone gets detected by the Samsung PC studio or not.
