Menu key of Nokia E71 gets freezed

Its been 2 months that i have bought a new Nokia E71 mobile phone and everything was working perfectly. But from last two days, When i press menu key and the home key then my phone gets freeze and the only way to make it working is to reboot. This becomes very much annoying while using phone. What could be the reason and is there anybody facing the same problem?

I was having the same problem on my nokia e71 as it was freezing every time when i press menu button. As soon as i press the menu button, It gets blinked and then nothing happens and then you have to restart your mobile phone.
I think there would be many more people who will be facing this problem. I hope we both will get the solution over here.

I think you should reset all the factory settings on your Nokia E71 phne as it might happen that the problem which you are facing about the menu key and home key would get solved by doing so. If suppose the problem does not go off after resetting the factory settings then i guess you need to format your phone.

These could be something wrong with the button itself as it is just causing when you are trying to access the menu or home on your phone. You should directly go to the Nokia Care Center where they must be aware of this issue if this issue is that much popular in the e series or in particularly in e71 mobile phone of Nokia. As you have bought this phone just before 2 months back, You would be able to use the warranty in case any damages has been made regarding the phones buttons or any other damage.

This seems to be the problem with the firmware of your Nokia E71 mobile phone. I think you should contact the customer care of nokia in order to refresh the firmware of your phone. You have reinstall the firmware of your phone if there is any issue regarding the phone' s firmware.

This should be related to the firmware which you have installed on your phone. Actually even if you have not installed it then also it is an operating system which must be installed on your computer and there would be something wrong with the system file which must be get repaired as soon as possible. You have to reinstall the firmware and it would be good for you if nokia have launched the new version of the firmware for your phone.

I do not know that which version of Nokia Firmware has been installed on your Nokia E71 cell phone but i think the latest firmware is 200.21.118 so you may crosscheck your firmware with this one. If it would be an older one then i guess you should upgrade your phone's firmware and then check about the same problem.
