How to cut paste file with Finder in Snow Leopard?

I am using an awesome application for purpose of cut and paste file that is known as FileCutter. I normally do that for the transferring the large files in small packages. But now Snow leopard has ruined the application. I am unable to use that, because I cannot right click on file for seeing the filecutter option. I think path finder has the same capability but I do not need the extra thing that comes with it. So I want to know how to cut paste file with Finder in Snow Leopard?

It is really very sad to know that it has ended the support for the contextual menus. I think you can replace the functionality with the service. You can build an Automator workflow that can move one file out of one folder into another folder. After that in the holding folder you can cut the file and then move the file as you required. The only with this is that you have to move the file to trash twice.

Thanks for the reply, I got a little bit that I can use some functionality for replacing the previous one but it will be better if you can provide me step by step procedure for doing this. Because the way you have explained the utility I am little bit confused with that. I will be waiting for the reply.

Here are the steps for doing this
    1. First you have to drag the “Get Selected Finder Items” from the “File and Folder ” category to the workflow space.
    2. After that you have to go to the “Move Finder Items”
    3. Then in the workflow, you have to select the Options for the “Move Finder Items” and then you have to click the checkbox which is displaying the action workflow.
    4. After that you just have to save your workflow as an application at the Finder toolbar.

I have better solution for your problem, you have to just open window one for source and other one for destination. After that you have to just drag the file from the source window and the drop it in the destination window. If you are having the source and destination files on different volumes then you have to hold the “Command” key. So that the source file is deleted after the copying of file is completed.

I think I do not require opening an additional window, and then click to close them afterward. It is normally a weak oversight not to provide the user this option for cutting and pasting in the finder window. I am using Mac OS X for more than four years and also used windows but I prefer to use Mac OS X. I will suggest you to do the same thing.

You can use moveAddict to cut and paste files, a new Snow Leopard-only application. Files do not change or move at all before you paste, you can use CMD+X and CMD+V as keyboard shortcuts, you can merge folders and more.
