Medium write error on macbook

I burn a DVD + R (SONYD21)
and wont let me start recording, stop armed folders, and when to start recording I get:

the unit has reported an error:
Detection Key = MEDIUM WRITE ERROR
Detection code = 0x0C
WRITE ERROR

Also will not let me record in simulation mode (to see if it was the dvd, I lost two already.) . I tried burning CD macbook burns the CD without any sort of error.

I managed to burn several time with CD verbatim. subsequently tried with another CD and just walk again. Maybe a shot of a bowl, or the fact that Cd was thicker and the lens is thus called it right or something like that if nothing works then i would suggest you to try writing a CD with a different brand. Hope this will help you.

These errors are caused not because of the drive hardware failures, which is not the obvious cause for the same. It may be useful to upgrade the firmware, to change the brand of CD or to repair the drive.

Try a different brand on with your macbook and check whether it works or not. I think that this should definitely solve the issue.

We can not compare in any way or even two CDs would do the reading, without extract, process and interpret data they contain. And there is no copy can burn without reading, so extraction and processing of the original. I meant to say that changing the brand of the cd will never help you instead you should try to upgrade the firmware.

Either there are some corrections which are need to be made by the CD player and in otherwise there was mining and burning with corrections. Account not on me to do this trick, the flies are all blocked. Note I have seen people that have done tests with samples. If nothing has worked for you till now then try to open your macbook and reconnect the sata cable connecting the dvd drive and the motherboard.
