Absolutely... There is an alternative when you break your loudspeakers or any other musical accessory. You have to simply connect the receiver to your BEEWI Dock for iPod or iPhone into Wireless Dock. Then you can listen to music from your mobile phone or music player by using the Bluetooth A2DP. This adapter BEEWI offers a direct connection without additional charger required. It uses the battery from the accessory that is plugged in. You should also know that the adapter BEEWI is universal and is compatible with all Bluetooth devices supporting the dissemination of music (A2DP profile).

After connecting the Bluetooth receiver to the sector on the one hand, and the HIFI amp on the other hand, comes from the Bluetooth pairing. The long press on a button on the front of the receiver can put in pairing mode. It is then detected, and the PC or Mac can be connected. Nothing to do especially since there is no password on the limp. For cons, the link being peer to peer, is the first device that supports the link that keeps the ... If you want to change device, you should therefore take care to disconnect the previous one.

The A2DP can enable many other things. With a Bluetooth receiver, I use this connection to couple the audio from my iPhone to the car. This allows me to use a GPS navigation software for long journeys. Beware though, as soon as the Bluetooth does transmit more data, it goes to sleep. The awakening of the Bluetooth link is long and it may take several seconds for the re-coupling is operational. I do not know if it's related to the car, or if the iPhone is a feature of Bluetooth, but if the voice says "Attention in 500 meters turn left", you may hear that "meters, turn left '. No top.

The A2DP Bluetooth protocol allows, among other things, play music stored on a Bluetooth device, all without any wires. Latest Yamaha home cinema amplifiers can be equipped with an optional YBA-10 adapter that allows them to read and control the audio from a mobile phone or any other device capable of storing music and equipped with Bluetooth.

The most successful was based on a media player Kiss Technology (since acquired by Linksys), connected to a Linux server that provided by software DP500 free access to all videos and MP3 files of the house. It was easy to access (via the Kiss player's remote control), allowing the playback of photos, mp3 and videos on the server, and worked on almost all types of formats. That meant, however, leave it on the server permanently. Moreover, the choice of music by the remote was a bit laborious, preventing the selection of securities for the benefit of listening to full albums. In addition, it required to have the TV on to choose music to listen.

With a Mac OS X 'Snow Leopard' and multiple PCs, I looked for solutions appropriate software running on Mac, and does not constitute a drain in my eventual return on PC / Windows. iTunes seemed the best solution despite its main drawback is the inability to read files free of compression formats (Ogg, Flac, etc. ..). This required that I convert the dozen albums I'd digitized this format to MP3 HDTV. Another characteristic is probably exaggerated the transmission distance. It is said that the device has a range of 20 meters, but it is actually quite a distance of 5 to 10 meters in practice. It is therefore possible to have the mac on the coffee table, with chain in the same room, but it will not work from one room to another.
