New MacBook Pro can boot off SD card

I am using mac book pro. I heard that install Vista directly from a USB Stick (your computer's BIOS must support booting from a will USB Drive), install faster than is good from a CD-ROM drive, almost 50% faster. This is great it is for small shops, you may not need to have OS image settings quickly replace human case of computer crashes. And almost always take several hours to install a pair of good couple, so i want to know that can i boot OS from SD card. Any idea.

It is not possible to boot OS from SD card. But you can boot from USB drive. You need to just plug your bootable flash drive into one of the USB ports immediately the laptop reboots. The laptop is supposed to notice that the flash drive is active and has boot files and will either boot straight from it or prompt the utilize to push a key to boot from it. From here, essential access to all the archive should be capable.

If equally your hard drive and optical drive have give up working then I would believe the drive organizer has gone bad. That is included onto the motherboard. You need to watch the POST screen at start up to prove the drives are identified by the BIOS. You need to modify the BIOS setting that relate to Boot Device order. Just Set USB as the first boot device.

You need to turn on the laptop to be booted. Press the correct key needed to right to use the BIOS settings. This can be the delete key or several of the function keys (F1 through F12). You should check with your laptop manual for this information. After that, just save the BIOS settings and exit and the laptop will reboot.

If you load the program that you desire to boot on your macbook onto your SD card using a USB Card reader--your boot program must enclose a file with an ".INI" extension to boot. If you are loading the boot program onto your SD card from a processor other than your macbook, move the SD card reader to a USB port on your ThinkPad.

You need to use the arrow keys on your keyboard to find the way down to the "USB FDD" or "USB HD" option, and after that use the "F5" key to go it to the summit of the order. Hit the "F10" key to save your change and reboot your macbook. The plan on your SD card will boot when your laptop restarts. Select the "Startup" choice in the IBM BIOS Setup value, and then pick the "Boot" choice on the following screen. Your macbook boot sources, such as DVD-ROM and Hard drive, will be planned in the order of their boot priority; the first source to boot will come into view at the top of the order.
