iPhone 3G not detected on Mac

I have been using iPhone 3G from 2 months. I need you help to resolve my iphone issue. The actual problem is that when I connect my iPhone to my Mac system, it won't detected. I am not getting if my iPone has any problem or there is any issue with my mac system. Please help me to resolve this issue. I will really appreciate your any help.

If you want to connect the your iPhone 3G to your mac system, before that you need to install the pc suite application. Then only you iPhone 3G get detected on your system. To get this PC suite for your iPhone 3G, for that you will need to download it from the official website of the iPhone 3G. Try this solution first.

I am also getting similar issue with my iPhone 3G. I have gone though various solution, but still having same problem with iPhone 3G. I also installed ps suite software on my computer system, but it doesn't make any difference in the connection issue. I am totally frustrated because of this iPhone 3G issue. Please provide proper solution for this issue.

As per your query it sounds that your iPhone may comprise some problem that doesn't allow it to detect over your computer system. And it's quite difficult to resolve this problem. So according to me it's better for you to contact the iPhone service center. It it is in warranty then please replace this faulty device.

• Check the USB cable of your iphone.

According to me there may be some problem in USB cable of your iPhone 3G through which you connect your iPhone 3G to your computer system. I would like to suggest you that replace this faulty USB cable of your iPhone 3G with new one. I think this is the ultimate solution to resolve your iPhone 3G connection issue.

Thanks friends for all your suggestions. All your replies was quite helpful while solving this iPhone issue. As per one of the above suggestion I downloaded the PC suite application for my iPhone from the official website and installed it on my computer system. After this when I connected my iPhone to may computer, surprisingly it got detected. Thanks again for all your help.
