Weird alert with yyyyyyy on my LG phone

I have a LG 3 phone of Verizon. I had noticed a alert pop up the third time this week. It shows some yyyyyy with dots on y on the pop up. I had not able to figure out why this popup comes out. I had removed some application for this. But still it comes in between in sometime. Is this a virus or any threat application in my phone. Recently I had taken some games. Also I am facing some synchronization issue.

This can be due to some services from the Verizon side. You can for this contact the customer service for the issue. Even if you try to update the software of this phone then that will provide you a great help. Just try to run a software update for this phone and check back. Also see that you have any internet based service on your phone which remains active in the background.

I too have a similar issue on my phone. I have a LG VX8360 phone which I had purchased from Verizon. First thing I got a sms message which alerted me save some settings. I pressed OK and saved the same. After that I am receiving some strange pop-ups on my phone. I had factory resetted my phone and now the alert has gone, but the reset has wiped my data.

I have a LG KE970 in which the phone sync fail always. Anyhow I figured out the issue behind this. The LG KE970 has two modes of connection. The first is Data services which is for managing contacts, memos, etc. The synchronization works with PC software LGSync. And the other one is mass Storage for managing music, pictures, documents, etc. It is unfortunately not possible to have access to both modes at the same time so it is necessary to activate either one or the other if necessary. To activate go to, Menu > Parameters > Connectivity > USB Connection.

I am facing modem issue on my LG KG800 phone. For this I had found some solution which I would like to share. For this open control panel and then select Phone and Modem. Then in Modems tab select LGE Mobile USB Modem. Delete it and then on the phone select Settings and connectivity. Choose the Modem and answer yes. Return to the main screen, slid open the laptop and connect to your computer. Hopefully the wizard windows will tell you that new hardware is installed.

The KG800 has unfortunately does not have the feature of UMTS modem. This feature is based on the 3G (third generation). It allows to use the phone connected via USB to your computer to connect to the Internet or anywhere 3G network is available, upon payment of a subscription to your carrier. The KU800 has this very interesting feature for travelers. In his case, in connectivity there is indeed an option on the modem.
