LG 8600 Making your MP3 your Ringtone

I have just bought a new LG 8600 and i have bought a pack which includes headphones, a memory card reader and 512mb memory card. The dealer from where i have bought this all things have said that i can even download my own MP3's from iTunes and can use those MP3's as a ringtones on LG 8600. But i do not know how to make a Mp3 as a ringtone from my memory card.

I think you have to download Bitpim and then upload the mp3 songs which you want to set as ringtone in your LG 8600 mobile phone. You can easily make your mp3 songs in to a small ringtones by using this software. Once you have made a small audio file which is in fact a ringtone from the whole mp3 song then you may transfer it to your phone.

I think you have to first transfer the songs to your LG phone then you have to move that particular file to the phone memory from the memory card. As you can only set the ringtones in your phone from the phone memory and not from the memory card data. You would not be having any option to set the songs as ringtone from the memory card.

There are lots of free softwares available on a world wide web which helps you to cut down the mp3 files on your computer. Actually i suggest you to download the software on any computer system and then you just have to open the song in that particular software and choose for the part of it which you want to use and other will get deleted then you just have to save it which would be a ringtone. Now you can transfer it to your mobile phone.

Once you have made the ringtones from your songs then you must put the memory card in the given card reader which in further should be connected with the computer system. You would be having an external drive which is a memory card which you have inserted in your computer.
Now you can add up whatever things that you want on your memory card. But make sure that you only add up those things which are compatible with your LG phone as other would be only consuming memory and doing nothing else.
