3rd gen ipod touch faulty screen??

Clean the iPhone screen using soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Don't use gloves during working with Multi-Touch display and also touchscreen with wet hands or immediately after applying hand lotion. Moisture affects touchscreen behavior in the similar way as it affects a track-pad.
- If you have a protective plastic sheet or film on the touchscreen, then destroy it. It may be preventing the touchscreen from working completely.
- If it not comes into working then turn the device into off and turn it on again.
