deleting "history" on backflip

I have to discuss one query which is related to my Motorola mobile. I am having Motorola BACKFLIP. But from two days ti showing very strange issue. I am not able to delete the contact history of my mobile, whenever I try to do this I get error message saying that 'contacts can not be deleted'. I have tried many way to resolve this, but still no success. I wonder anyone of you are able to help me to sort out this Motorola BACKFLIP issue. Your any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think your motorola mobile comprises some contact application issue. Have you tried to the resetting of your mobile factory setting? if not then please try it first. I am telling you this because I was also getting same issue with my mobile, and at that time one of my friend suggested me to do factory resetting. This trick worked for and hopefully it will also works for your.

As per my experience it seems that your mobile applications might have some virus infection. That generating error when you try to delete the contact history. So you need to do the virus scanning of your mobile using your computer. And after this switch off and switch on your mobile to take effect. Please try out this trick on your mobile.

I am also using the Motorola backflip and having same issue with contact history. I also referred the user guide of my Motorola backflip mobile, but unfortunately didn't get any details regarding contact history deletion. I also referred the official website of my mobile, but nothing was helpful. I am not getting how resolve this issue, please help me over this.
