My E72 is having problem with FM radio

I have recently buy a new Nokia E72 mobile phone but is having a very annoying problem. Whenever I tried to play the FM (Frequency Modulation) radio on it just hangs or restart automatically. I am facing this problem several times in a week. I am not having any clear idea whether this problem is because of the FM radio or something else is causing the E72 to restart.

Well this problem is manufacturing defect, which comes with some of the Nokia E72 mobile phone. Do not worry you have just install a firmware which is available on the official site of Nokia. Or else you can go to the nearest service center for solving this problem, I hope you are having the slip of the phone with you.

I am also suffering with the similar problem, actually accidently my earphone became wet and when I connected it to my phone, my phone freeze. After that, I have tried to reboot and tune in to radio station then it again reboot. In short, I am facing the problem in my phone while tuning it to different radio station. I will be waiting for the related replies.

While listing to the music on my Nokia N97 phone it is not having any problem but when it comes to the tuning of the radio station my Nokia N97 phone reboots every time. I do not know what the problem is but need the solution for this problem. One more thing if this problem is related with the headphone then why it is not happening when I am listening to radio.

I have mailed about this rebooting problem of Nokia E75 but not received any response about it and they are telling they have a response time of 48 hours but I have send the mail 5 days ago. Top of that when I contact the service provider he replied me that send the phone for repair but I have bought the phone just a week ago. I am really annoyed with this problem.

I don't understand. In PARIS, when i am using the radio FM with my E72, that's very pleasant. But, if i choose 'France Culture Station', before one minute, it reboots automatically.
In FNAC shop, a technical commercial said:' Perhap's, it's a RDS problem: conflit of informations'. He suggests to disconnect the automatic research. Do you know to deactivate the automatic research?

Hi Pierrick75,

Just go in the radio settings and turn the automatic station search to "OFF" or something similar, then try to search for the radio stations manually. You can also try to update the firmware of the mobile phone and hopefully after that you wont get any restart trouble I guess. It might be a bug in the mobile phone itself, you never know.
