Contact Sync./Manila.exe error in HTC Touch Pro 2

Hello friends, I have a HTC Touch Pro 2 which has Windows mobile version 6.5 installed on it. The phone worked fine for all these days but now the phone is giving a weird problem while working. Whenever I try to update my contacts, it relaunches touch flo 3D. I cant figure out what is causing such problem and hence need your help to solve it. So if anybody is facing similar Contact Sync./Manila.exe error in HTC Touch Pro 2 then please suggest some solutions about the same. Thanks in advance.

Most of the problems which are faced by the Windows mobile users are solved by doing a Soft reset. Windows mobile like any other operating system can get stuck in a loop while executing any application. If the Windows mobile gets stuck in a loop then the system will not work properly. To bring the phone back to working state, you will have to do a soft reset. To perform a soft reset, open the battery cover of the phone and push the reset button on the phone and let phone reboot. After rebooting see if the problem still persists or not.

There must be some problem with the photo contacts which you are trying to update. The contacts to the phone are synced using the Outlook which is installed on the computer. If the contacts which are synced are not proper then the phone will give some problems while trying to edit it. Therefore delete all the contacts from the phone and then sync the phone again with the computer. After syncing the contacts again, check if you are able to update the contacts or not.

By looking at the problem it seems like the firmware of the phone has gone corrupt and needs to be replaced. Firmware of the mobile phone is responsible for the proper working of the phone. If the firmware of the phone is not working properly then the phone will give such problems. You will have to get the firmware of the phone replaced in order to make it work properly. To update the firmware of the phone, take it to the service center and get the firmware updated. After updating the firmware you will not face similar problems with the phone.

I was also facing the same problem with the HTC Touch pro2 which I am using with a Verizon connection. While editing the contacts on the phone, the touch flow would reload and give a manilla.exe error. I solved the problem by doing a hard reset of the phone. To perform the hard reset of the phone, Follow the steps below :-
Start --> Settings -->All Settings --> System Tab --> Clear Storage.
Let the procedure complete. See if the problem continues.
