Vostro 1500 laptop display dim to black

I having and issue with the problem of mine which i need to solve. Actually my Dell Vostro 1500 laptop display dim to black whenever the power on. When i am starting it for the first time it display the screen for some second and then goes back to the black and the Windows log in screen can be seen very lightly. Also there is some squeek on the screen. So suggest me some thing for the same. Thank you.

As you have discuss your problem which is with the screen goes to black it seems that there is problem with the inverter of your Monitor which is not functioning properly. So it is advisable to fix this issue as soon as possible other wise it can be possible that your monitor which mess up with more issue in display. Thanks

Possibly this can be issue of the inverter but can you light on the Squeek that i am getting with the same as it is coming on every restart.

The squeeking that you are getting with the Vostro 1500 laptop is nothing the but the issue with the inverter. The squeeking might be appearing every time when the laptop power is up and also when the power is going down. The power goes up and down is always having the same issue. So fix the problem as soon as possible.

Have you gone through the contact with the dell? Of not then contact them first and then try to fix the issue by your own. As there is Dell support available for the help of the people who are the user of the Dell. So discuss the problem with them and they might have gone through the same issue and having the solution for the same.

First of all thanks to all for helping me out with the issue of Vostro 1500 laptop display dim to black and every ones replies is appreciable. I have gone through the same and find that this is the issue with the inverter only. So i have ordered new one for my device and fit the same into Vostro 1500 laptop. Get back to with update of it.
