    Vostro 3700 video resolution

I have purchased the Dell Vostro 3700 laptop which has the Windows 7 operating system installed in it. This laptop came with the dedicated 1GB graphic card. This has the large 17.3" screen. I want to know about the maximum screen video resolution of Dell Vostro 3700 laptop. Because i am getting confused. Many of the places i have seen the 1366x768 and others say it is 1900x1200. So what is the real screen resolution of the laptop.

You are having the Dell Vostro 3700 laptop which has the Windows 7 operating system installed in it. You are not confirmed about the native screen resolution of this laptop because you have seen somewhere showing it as 1366x768 and others say it is 1900x1200. I think it can be possibly 1366x768 for the 17.3" screen because as far as i know the 20" screen provides the 1600x900 screen resolution. So it is obvious that the 17" screen will have less than that.

    Re: Vostro 3700 video resolution

I am also agree with the opinion of the Antonio1, because the 17" screen cannot have the 1600x900 screen resolution which your Dell Vostro 3700 laptop has. So the native screen resolution of your laptop is 1366x768 without any doubt. If you want then you can refer the user guide of the laptop. It will ave all the details about the laptop.

    Re: Vostro 3700 video resolution

I think the Dell Vostro 3700 laptop has the 1600x900 screen resolution because this resolution is known as the 16:9 screen resolution. As this laptop is featured with the 1GB graphic card, so i am sure it will be having the 16:9 video screen resolution without any doubt. So the Dell Vostro 3700 laptop has atleast the 1600x900 screen resolution and not less than that.

    Re: Vostro 3700 video resolution

The best way to check the native resolution of the desktop and the laptop is from the screen resolutions available in the laptop and the desktop for setting up the wallpapers. Follow the steps given below and check out the highest resolution available for the screen of your laptop or the desktop monitor.
Right click on desktop-> Display property windows will appear-> Select setting tab from there-> move the available rotator under that to left and right to see the available screen resolution in your laptop.

    Re: Vostro 3700 video resolution

I dont think so that this Dell Vostro 3700 laptop will be having the 1900x1200 screen resolution because the 1600x900 screen resolution is known as the 16:9 aspect screen ration and the 1900x1200 screen resolution is for the 16:10 aspect screen ratio. So according to me it is impossible for the Dell Vostro 3700 laptop to have this screen ratio. I will advise you to contact the dell for clearing out your doubt about the screen resolution of the Dell Vostro 3700 laptop.
