Internal Microphone not working for L505D-S5983

I am having the Toshiba Satellite L505D-S5983 laptop and having issues related to the inbuilt Microphone of this Toshiba Satellite L505D-S5983 laptop. This laptop has he Windows Vista operating system. This microphone was working properly before without any problems. I come to know about this when i was chatting and the person on the other hand was not able to hear my voice.
