L505-S5990 webcam is not working

Hello. I have a Toshiba Satellite L505-S5990 laptop and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. The problem is that whenever I start the system I get an error message that the Web camera initialization failed. I do not know what could have been the issue? Please do help me out so that I can make the things to get sorted out well. Thank you.
