Unable to access internet using Opera browser on Nokia 5233

Two day ago i have bought a new brand Nokia 5233 mobile phone which is fully touch screen. I have vodafone sim card inserted in it and i have activated wap services to access internet on my phone. But there is a problem in connecting to the internet. Whenever i try to access internet through Opera 10 browser i get an error message stating that "unable to connect to the server". Please help me to solve this problem.

There are most of the cases where you are not able to access internet through wap services. I think the best thing to do is you need to activate gprs services on your phone. Gprs give you all the functions which the wap service doesn't seem to have and give a partcular person. You will face most of the problem related to he errr messge which you are getting. So if you wnat to experiance better internet experiance then you need to have gprs activated.

If you face such kind of problem then you need to contact your operator's customer care for providing some of solution for the problem which you are facing. I think the problem is from the network side. And also you need to install any of the software applications like browser properly, because if the applications is not installed properly or it is corrupted then this problem can be occurred.

In order to access wap services in your phone, you need to have UCweb 7 browser which is the latest one and it is the fastest browser that i have ever seen. It has a builtin download manager by which you can manage your downloads, and also with this borwser you wiil not face any kind of problem in future related to the wap service. This browser configures all the settings related to the netcork which is used by the phone.

If you are still facing this problem then you can go to the "Setting Wizard" which is a great applicaiton that is available in most of the nokia phone which allows the user to set the network on the phone correctly. You need to fo to the applications in your phones menu and then there you will see an icon of Setting Wizard. Just go in that and it will ask to set the settings for the operator for internet, wap and mms. Press yes and then it will automatically configure all the settings in the phone.

You can check the wap service which is activated on your phone by going in the nokia's browser, if it is running and opening any of the web page theni think the problem might be in the Opera 10 browser which you have downloaded it. I think you need to un-install it and after some time install it again in your phone and then see if the problem persist, then you need to use some other browser which are available for free on the internet.
