Shortcuts in Blackberry phone.

Hello, I have recently bought a new Blackberry mobile phone. This mobile phone is quite good according to its features but i have heard that there are many features which are not known by the normal users of Blackberry phones. I would to know all the shortcuts in Blackberry phone so that i can enjoy my mobile phone much more.

As you have mentioned the model number of the Blackberry mobile phone which you are using, I do not know that this features will be available on your phone or not but still you may try this.

• ALT(left)+Shift(right)+Del will restart the phone.
• ALT+JKVV will display reason behind PDP reject.
• ALT+CAP+ H, ALT + EACE, ALT + ESCR will displays the Help Me screen.
• ALT + NMLL will show the signal strength as a numeric value.
• ALT + LGLG will display the Java event log.

If you are using any Blackberry Phone then there are some shortcuts keys as follows which you may use for address book in your blackberry phone.
ALT+VALD will be validating the data structure and looking for inconsistencies.
ALT+RBLD will rebuild the data structure.
Type RSET from the options menu which will reload the Address book from the BES.

SYNC will enable calendar slow sync.
RSET will reload the calendar from the BES.
RCFG sends a request for BES configuration.
SCFG can be used to send device configuration.
DCFG is used to get CICAL configuration.
SUPD to enable the detailed Cal. report.
SUPS to disable the detailed Cal. report.
SUPN to disable the Cal. report database.
LUID to select view by UID.
SRSL will be showing Reminder status log.

Here are some shortcuts keys which will be showing the different kind of status regarding the SIM card that you are using on your Blackberry mobile phone.
for using this shortcuts you have to go to the Options->Advanced->SIM card then type:

1. MEPD to display MEP info.
2. MEP1 will be disabling the SIM personalization.
3. MEP2 will be disabling the Network personalization.
4. MEP3 will be disabling the Network subset personalization.
5. MEP4 will be disabling the Service provider personalization.
6. MEP5 will be disabling the Corporate personalization.
