Unable to open .txt attachments on BlackBerry

Hello to all,
I have BlackBerry mobile phone which is 6 months old. It don't have any problem until last week. From last week I unable to open .txt attachments on BlackBerry. I don't know what happened to it. I have checked the Policy and attachment extensions on the BES, but it is found good. I don't know what is the problem.
Please help me.

From your information it seems that the file that come in your e-mail is get corrupted or get damaged and that's why you are getting such type of problem. In this case try to get another .txt file from your computer. If you are bale to see that file then it means that your old file is faulty one. In this case delete that file to fix this problem.

I also had the same problem. I tried various method but none of them worked out. Then one of my friend said me to reset my mobile. After resenting my mobile, now I don't have any problem. In this case you have to use reset process to fix this problem. Just go to main menu -> now go to setting option -> now go to reset option -> now go to phone reset option.
After this you will not get any problem.

It seems that you are tried to open .txt attachment with "Table of Contents" option and that's why you are getting such type of problem. You have to open .txt attachment with "Full content" option to fix this problem. You don't know how to do this then use following steps.
When you receive such kind of e-mail with .txt attachment, click the trackwheel, and then select Open Attachment -> now click the the trackwheel to select "Full content".
NOTE: The Full content view opens the attached file.

I think your mobile's software get corrupted or get damaged and thats' why you are getting such type of problem. In this case you have to upgrade your mobile's software to fix this problem. It means you have to install new firmware update file in your mobile to get rid out of this problem. Just go to official site of Blackberry and look out for new update. Just download and install it in your mobile.
