    Sync between macbook and imac?

    Hello,

I have a imac and soon I'll buy a macbook. For now I have a laptop pc
I was told that was possible to sync the two? But I wonder if the sync goes in 2 directions?

Let me explain: on imac itunes library is different from my phone if I sync it will complete this laptop or will it copied from my imac?

Give me little more info? thank you in advance.

If it's just a one time thing just exit out of iTunes and copy your Music folder from iMac to MB. If you want to have them in sync at all times use MobileMe.

MobileMe is a service that pushes new email, contacts, and calendar events over the air to all your devices. So your iPhone, Mac, and PC stay in perfect sync. No docking required. And that’s just one of many ways MobileMe simplifies your life

With MobileMe, I keep the following items in sync between all my computers and my iPhone:

    • Bookmarks
    • Calendars
    • Contacts
    • Mail Accounts
    • Mail Rules, Signatures, and Smart Mailboxes
    • Notes

Turn on sharing for the benefit of the system preferences -> sharing on the computer that has the iTunes library, then open the Macintosh HD on another computer, find the Mac that is broadcast and click on it to connect to it. Then, open iTunes, go to Preferences, then click the Advanced tab and choose the location where its stored on another machine. Another few options is a network drive or a wireless router with USB support as an AirPort Extreme, so the drive is shared on the network.
