Airtel gprs setting for Gfive E71

Hi friends,
I am using Gfive E71 mobile phone from the last two months. As i am using Airtel sim in my mobile and want to activate gprs to browse internet on my mobile phone. I have talked with the customer care people of airtel, they say that my phone cannot receive mobile office setting to browse internet. I want the setting for the gprs for my phone. Please help me if anyone knows the gprs setting for my mobile phone. Most of my friend they told me that i can use internet on my phone.

I am using same mobile phone and i am able to browse mobile office in my phone. Here is the setting for mobile office.

First you have to go to the "services" and then to "Data Account" to "GPRS".

There you have to select empty account like "Account 8".

After selecting it, edit the account as following:

Account Name: MOBILE OFFICE
Access Point Name: airtelgprs.com
User Name: blank
Password: blank
Authauntication Type: Normal

The setting of the data account finished and click on done and save it.

Now, go to the "Services" and then to "WAP" to "Settings" to "Network Setup".

You have to select to 8th i.e "Profile8" and edit the following setting.

Profile Name: mobile office
Homepage: http://m.google.com
Gateway: 202.056.231.117
Port: 9201
Data Account: Go to Mobile Office (in that Select GPRS> Select "Mobile Office" which is already configured)

After that now save the whole settings and go to "services" then to WAP and to homepage. Now your browser will work fine and can use internet in your mobile.

Airtel gprs setting for all Gfive chine mobiles.

In the menu go to the Services there you will find WAP and Data Account, just open the WAP and go to the settings first and select sim for airtel and after that come back and go to the Edit Profile, there you have to select an empty profile. Do the following setting in that profile.

Rename the profile as: Mobile Office
Homepage: m.google.com
Data account: Mobile Office
Connection type: WAP( if wap then the ip address would be:202.056.231.117)
User name: blank
Password: blank

Setting for Data account
Account name: Mobile Office
Access Point Name: airtelgprs.com
user name: blank
password: blank
authauntication Type: normal

If you want to use internet on your pc using your mobile as a modem then try the method which i have given in the following detail. It is very wasy to use internet on the pc via china mobile phone. As to connec your china phone with the pc you need usb data cable to connect it.

To use with USB cable you need "MTK device driver" which is a driver it is use to sync your mobile phone to the pc.

After that go to the "My computer" and do the right click and go to manage
Click on "Device manager" and go to modem property
After going to the modem property click on advance and type the the following detail as given below:

AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet provider"

As regina suggested you hoe to use your mobile as a modem in your pc to use the internet in your computer. There is another way by which you can connect your mobile to pc with the help of bluetooth. I use my mobile as a modem for my pc via bluetooth. To do this you need to do some simple steps:

First and the important thing you need to install bluetooth software with blurtooth device in your computer.

After that go to "My computer" right click and go to manage option there you will find Device manager click on it and go to the modem property in that click on advance and type the following:

If you have got all the setting for the mobile office then you can just ask to activate gprs on your phone by calling to the customer and activate it. After that if the gprs is activated then you can choose for the subscription for the gprs and i they refuse to activate in your mobile as they say that your mobile does not support gprs then you can put your sim in another mobile which is capable of using gprs and then try to activate mobile office. Once the mobile office is activated use the above settings to use internet n your phone.
