Question of Palm Centro & OS's for it.

Hello, I just purchased a used Palm Centro. I know it is a couple of years old, and I really would like the TealOS or the Launcher OS to be put on it. I have two questions: 1) which is the better of the two OS and 2) how do I put on the OS? The phone is unlocked.

Could someone please help me with an explanation? I would really appreciate it.

I like TealOS because it simulates card-based interface with thumbnails launched applications, a translucent program list, customizable background images and move the screen by finger. First download it and to install it , open the .ZIP files, install them using the Palm Install Tool (in the Palm Desktop) or double-clicking our TPSETUP automatic installer if you are running Windows. Then HotSync to transfer the program(s) to your handheld.

Tomaz, thank you sooo much for responding. So I purchased the phone for my son who just got back from being in the Army for 6.5 years. I don't have the desktop stuff on my computer but I bluetooth the file to the phone, can you tell me how or where to go to unzip it?

Thanks for responding Simond, I finally got the desktop on a 32bit computer and that helped me load the Teal OS onto my Palm Centro. It looks great and works wonderfully. I was wondering if by some chance you might know how the keygen works. I obviously need a key to get it off the trial version that I am now currently running.

When I run the application I see a quick flash of a small dos screen and then nothing. I am doing this on my Windows OS and not of the phone, should I be generating this number on the phone?
