Chandigarh/Mohali:-Suggest a Place for Laptop Repair(LCD/Inverter)

I need to get the LCD/Inverter repaired, Would be of great help, If members from Chandigarh or Mohali can recommend a place which is reliable, efficient and won't rip off by over charging.Need to fix it ASAP

Which LCD you are using..?? You can check the availability of that Service Center from the Internet. You will get the nearest available Service Center when you search in their home page. I think that there should be some place near Chandigarh, since it is well known but that depends on your LCD company.

You can make use of latest service which is released by Google, known as Google sms. You just need to send the name of the LCD/Inverter and your location via SMS to a Google SMS number. You will receive the list of all service centers which are their in your locality. Number for Google sms can be found on the Internet.

it's a thinkpad laptop, authorised service center is quoting huge charges .Would get it repaired from unauthorised service center.That's the reason why I have posted here,looking for options other then Service center.

I don't think that repairing your thinkpad or the laptop from a local hardware professional is a good idea. They can repair your laptop but in the same way they will not provide you with the best company peripherals as the authorised service centre. Try to search it on google and you might get one

Local repair shop might take out the Original peripherals of your laptop and might replace them with cheap quality parts. Getting your laptop repaired from a local shop will cost you less but you will have to pay more next time. So be careful while selecting the shop for repairing. Service centers charge you more but they assure the quality of service.

If the Authorized Service Center is charging too much then you can take the help of local hardware expert. But it is recommended to repair from the Service Center because the service will be much better than the locals. Even than if you are thinking to get repaired from the local expert than atleast tell him to do the job properly.!!

There is a new shop in city. Its a brand called ClubLaptop, it has showroom allover India. These people do repair with warranty and are as good as Authorized service centers and they charge very nominally. Almost half as much as authorized centers. I got my BGA job done from them they charged some 3000 and were really professional. I met Mr Harry there the owner very qualified and technical person.
