htc touch pro 2 vs nokia n97

I am going to buy a new smart phone and i am confuse between this two model htc touch pro 2 and nokia n97. Can any one what are the difference between this mobile phone? I’m getting some doubts about NOKIA N97, two smartphones look very similar in design but is there any specification difference?

This two smartphones comes with slide-and-tilt QWERTY keyboards.HTC has the plus in its keyboard size and the quality. Touch Pro 2 is an enterprise device where as N series is in the Entertainment segment. The N97’s mechanism was poorly thought out as it leaves very little space for the keyboard.

The N97’s keyboard is apparently OK but with only 3 rows and perplexing layout of certain keys, it will take some getting used to. Both devices offer a great form factor with the tilt and slide screen. Nokia's N97 is a sleeker looking touchscreen package that's geared towards consumers with great video and audio capture compared to HTC's mega speakerphone version geared at the suits in corporate settings. The HTC Touch Pro2 has a stonkingly good keyboard layout. Because the angle of the screen is at the edge (and wider than the N97, 55.5 VS 59.2) it can afford to have pretty much the normal keyboard layout.

I've heard the N97 is a little slow and maybe hangs between applications just like a lot of the N and E series devices. HTC Touch Pro 2 :Windows Mobile 6.1, also plenty of heritage, also function-rich, the core OS here is up to the task.Also just discovered the N97 has only 128mb ram, With low ram, a plain looking screen and no back light on the key board, the HTC may have it. The N97 could almost be an XP machine in a Vista world.

Both handsets are comparable in value and it comes down to software, OS, and styling. The HTC’s Touch Pro2 is a lot more enterprise orientated, with interesting features such as “Straight Talk”. Both devices offer a lot of connectivity options from GPS, 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth. The Nokia edges out here with support for that needed 3.5 mm headphone jack that has been long neglected on phones.
