Connecting my PC to the 32XBR9

Need Help!!! Connecting the 32XBR9 to the computer. I am using the medium configured computer. And i have installed windows 7 on this computer. I have been trying to connect it with DVI/HDMI converter and HDMI cable but it is not working. I can see video perfectly but there is no audio output. I did not understood what is the reason behind no sound only.

    Mediabridge Ultra Series HDMI Cable

I think you need a perfect cable to enjoy the connectivity between the computer and your high resolution TV. Mediabridge Ultra Series HDMI Cable would be the exact cable to connect it with your TV. This cable supports for 120Hz & 240Hz refresh rates, 48-bit Deep Color, and Ultra-High Speed 10.2gbps transfer rates. This cable will also enable your home theater or gaming equipment to perform up to its maximum output.

    Sound Card not supported.

As you said that you have connected with the HDMI cable and you are not getting the audio output but you can view videos. I think there could be some problem regarding the sound card on your computer. First check that do you have a proper sound card by which your TV would work with your computer.

    Wrong Sound Driver.

I think you do not have a proper sound driver because which you are not able to listen sound. Try to install a latest sound driver for the windows 7 so that it will be supporting for your TV connecting task also. I prefer to say that while installing the driver, first of all install the driver for sound then go for any other drivers.

    Using wrong port for sound.

It may happen that you would be using the wrong ports to use audio for your TV. Try to use all the ports that you have on your computer. It might happen that some port will work as per your condition. Actually it happens when people do not know which card has been connected to which port.

    Default Audio Device as USB.

Here I guess, you are facing the problem only while listening to your TV right? If so then i think you need to check some basic settings on your computer. I think your default sound device would be set to the usb device. Because of which your TV would not be finding the proper resource for audio output. Try changing those default settings and then plug in your all the needed cables.
