    Kindle Reader for Mac

I am a Mac user. Ever since I have started using computers I have been suing Mac. And I find it well ahead and developed than Windows or any other operating system. I am thinking to purchase Kindle DX which is a ebook reading portable device developed by Amazon. I have kept a vast collection of ebooks on my Mac computer which are required for my educational needs and I believe Kindle will also be very helpful for me reading my ebooks when I am not using my computer. But does Amazon's Kindle supports Mac? Also provide some features of Kindle DX.

    Mac Kindle not yet produced

During the launch of Windows 7 it was stated by Microsoft that Amazon is looking forward in producing Kindle to be supported on Windows platform. This is uncertainty regarding the versions of Windows platform that will support Kindle, but it is believed that only Windows 7 support Kindle. Also Mac is going to get Kindle but this is also going to take time.

    Re: Kindle Reader for Mac

I currently own the first release of Kindle. And I am very much impressed by Amazon to develop an application to mobilize reading e-books from internet. But now I am also going to buy the latest release to the Kindle family- Kindle DX. I have noted following features of Kindle DX:
    • Built-In PDF Reader:
Unload the loose documents from your briefcase or backpack, and put them all on Kindle DX. From neighborhood newsletters to financial statements to case studies and product manuals--you can take them all with you on Kindle DX. Native PDF support allows you to carry and read all of your personal and professional documents on the go.
    • Beautiful Large Display:
Kindle DX's large display is ideal for a broad range of reading material, including graphic-rich books, PDFs, newspapers, magazines, and blogs. Kindle DX's display is two and a half times the size of the Kindle display. Whether you're reading the latest bestseller or a financial report, text and images are amazingly sharp on the 9.7" screen.
    • Auto-Rotating Screen:
By simply turning the device, you can immediately see full-width landscape views of maps, graphs, tables and Web pages.
    • Sleek & Trim:
Kindle DX is as thin as most magazines. Just over a third of an inch in profile, you'll find Kindle DX fits perfectly in your hands.
