You are having the HP pavilion 335w laptop and it is not booting. You have mentioned that when you press the power button then the power comes and then long beep comes and stops there. The beeps comes from the desktops/laptops when any hardware part on the motherboard are not fixed properly. You are getting the long beep at the start up then this is surely the problem of the hardware connection to the motherboard.

Your computer is giving long beep before starting. This problem can be of the RAM. This is the very common problem which is faced by almost everyone. Remove the RAM from the motherboard and clean it properly and fix it again. Start the laptop. If still not starting then remove the ram and clean it with the eraser and also clean the RAM slot. Again fix it to the slot. This will solve the beeping problem of your laptop.

If the RAM of your HP pavilion 335w laptop is working fine then also the laptop is not booting then this can be the problem of some other hardware connected to the mother board. Remove the hardware one by one , clean them properly and also clean the slots of the hardware. This will surely resolve your problem. If Suppose in the extreme condition you problem is not solved by all this methods then there is some serious problem is there with your laptop. Take your laptop to the Repairing Center they will solve your problem.
