"Contact support" error on Zune Player

Hi, i am new to this forum and found it really very effective. Cheer up for you all guys..

Now, i am having a very short query. As the title suggest, same is the issue with my Zune player and hope you all guys can help me out for sure. I am having this player since long time, i can say that its almost 1 year old now. There was some issue with the player couple of weeks ago but was sorted out and was working fine these days. Yesterday when i turned it on, it was showing a message saying "Contact support" and is stuck there. Do you guys have any idea about this message ? Please help me out of this .. Thanks in advance..

As you said, there was some issue with your zune player, i think that is the reason for this prompting message. This issue occurs when your Zune player cannot recover from an error. Any ways, before contacting Zune support, you can try some troubleshoot. First of all try to restart you device and see the message still occurs or not.

I don't know whats wrong with your Zune player. If it is stuck on the said message,why don't you just remove the batteries and put them again. Now start the device and see if the message still pop ups.

In other way you can just try to restore the device, because that can be the best solution in this case rather than going to Zune Support. You should be aware that when you follow these steps, the player’s software and all content that is stored on the player will be removed. This includes music, videos, pictures, podcasts, friends, apps, and audiobooks.

Hey friends, thanks for your quick and valuable response.. I removed the batteries and restarted my Zune but still the message is there. Now, as you said to restoring the device can fix this problem, i decided to go with the same. So could you please let me know how can i restore my Zune ? I really appreciate your helps.
