Samsung omnia i8000 Microphone problem

Just few days back i had bought a new Samsung omnia i8000 phone. Recently i had installed the old version of fring, and unfortunately I'm having problems with my omnia microphone. I can hear perfectly, but the people I'm calling can hardly understand me. I tried the fring test call and effectively my voice is really low. Can any body tell me how do i resolve my Samsung omnia i8000 microphone problem? Any body knows about it? Please help me out to get rid of the above issue. Thanks.

It is standardized, the 3.5mm omnia ii uses support video out, so the wiring of the 3.5mm pin is different from that of HD Samsung chose to swap the mic and Ground connections on the 3.5mm plug, so iPhone 3.5mm earpieces with microphone are not compatible.

On the left you get the volume rocker and on the right are the hardware Lock key and the back key / shutter key combo. Use the new version of fring with Xperia X1 support, and maybe try using a headset? The latter is a rocker-styled control where the shutter key is tangibly raised. It can be half-pressed too to handle auto-focus.

If even by using the new version of fring with Xperia X1, doesn't resolve your issue, then I think you should replace your Samsung omnia i8000 microphone, if you think if it is your microphone problem.
