Logitech Quickcam in Windows 7

I have a logitech quickcam(webcam), previously i used it under xp and vista without any issues, but its not working under windows 7 , i have installed the drivers but no application recognizing it, they says that webcam is used by another application but i don't have any other application that using quickcam, any idea how can i make it stable under windows 7? Download latest drivers from Logitech website http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/su...ads/downloads/

After downloading drivers , right click on driver setup and then install them in compatibility mode, it should make your webcam to work properly.

Which version of driver you are using? try the 11.8, it works with windows 7. Download Logitech Quickcam Driver 11.8 . For X64 - Logitech QuickCam Driver x64 11.5 . If it doesn't works then you may be able to run the driver in compatibility mode by right-clicking on the install file and selecting Properties and locating the Compatibility tab and selecting the appropriate box and choosing Windows Vista as the OS.

I have a Logitech Webcam (Communicate STX) running with no issues so far in W7 x64. There should be something wrong with your applications settings, you can do that only in the application where you want to use the Cam. That is the place where you use and adjust the Cams settings. Nothing changed there compared to Vista or XP.
