How to use China Apple Iphone

i have a 8GB Apple iphone Style Mini Touch GSM Quad Band Phone, from china, i am having trouble connecting it to the internet, any ideas as to how i use this stupid phone, please any answers, thanks.desperate

The iPhone can connect to the internet through both Wi-Fi and EDGE. You will have to get your GPRS settings, please contact your network operator,then you will need a sync software installed on your computer, in order to connect your China Apple Iphone to internet. If you want to check to see whether there is a wireless network available where you live, work, or play, go to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Wi-Fi’. The iPhone will show you all of the wireless networks that are available.
