Sony Ericsson TM506 Emerald T Mobile Issue

Hi,
I have a Sony Ericsson TM506 Emerald purchased from the T Mobile company. I had purchased it a long time ago. I want to know what is a Tri-Band Phone. What does it means. Second thing I facing errors while connecting to T Zone. I am not familiar with the errors. I need some proper solutions for the same. How can I restore back my T Zone service in the above mentioned model number. Please post some relevant suggestions. Thanks.
