    Buying Guide for Mini-Laptops

    Introduction

This guide is essential to certain points, when you are looking out for mini-laptop, when you are buying a mini-laptop (or netbook). While we look at the design, operating system, the battery life, the connectivity, price, memory, and finally the other features of mini-laptop.

    Known mini-laptops includes :

    Msi wind mini laptop
    Acer mini laptop
    Asus mini laptop
    Hp mini laptop
    Dell mini laptop
    Fujitsu mini laptop
    Toshiba mini laptop

    Design

Most mini-laptops have a friendly appearance, but everyone always has its own preference. Importantly, the size of the screen: you can choose between models with a 8.9 "or 10" inch display. Of course the latter also on the whole slightly larger and heavier. If you get the chance, always try first as the keyboard and touchpad of the mini-laptop to use because they feel significantly different about the mini-laptops of different brands. In addition, many mini-laptops available in various colors, including red, pink, red, brown, blue, black and white. If you want a specific color, please create an inventory which brands offer what colors.

    Operating System

With the purchase of many mini-laptops you can usually choose which operating system you want to use. You then have the choice of two operating systems: Linux or a variant of Windows (XP or Vista). The advantage of Linux is that the system is much cheaper or even free. In addition, Linux is more stable and Windows and it is easier for the layman to learn. If you are a regular computer user and are familiar with Windows, you should choose Windows. Linux is a completely different system from scratch you need to know. Another advantage of Windows is that, there is a much broader range of applications available. It is good to know that with Windows assured of the support of familiar Microsoft programs like Word and Excel.

    Connectivity

Obviously you want your mini-laptop can go anywhere the Internet. Therefore, each mini-laptop currently on the market over WiFi, it is (wireless) internet every possible WiFi hotspot. They are now almost everywhere, both at airports and McDonald's branches. Each mini-laptop also has several USB ports, so you have at home it is your permanent internet cable connection. Support for HSDPA mobile internet even faster in most mini-laptops currently only optional. There are also several mini-laptops on the market that allow a SIM card to stop them so you also can call, SMS and MMS. These mini-laptops are still in the minority, but in the future will undoubtedly be standard.

    Battery Duration

Mini-laptops go mainly road course and travel use. It is therefore wise to see what mini-laptop has the longest battery life. The battery life of a standard mini-laptop is also often less time than you had suggested: roughly between 3 and 4 hours. These are the models with a three or more batteries cells. There are also mini-laptops with a 6-cell battery that bit longer, 5 to 6 hours go. The 6-cell battery models are a bit expensive.

    Memory

It is also nice to know what files on your computer is lost. Mini-laptops are always less memory as standard laptops (why they are cheaper), but there are still significant differences in storage. This can vary from 2GB to 160GB, which is obviously significant. If you only on the Internet and word processing computer, you obviously do not need much storage space. If you need to store more data, you should choose a larger hard drive. Moreover, a small hard drive need not be a problem, because you can of course also an external hard drive on your mini-laptop. But then, your baggage is still obviously a lot heavier. Besides limited storage capacity, the mini-laptops have a limited memory. Text Processing and Internet is fine, but if your graphics programs and the latest games will run better can one 'old' laptop.

    Price

Of course it is also important to look at the price if you purchase a mini-laptop. Most mini-laptops cost between Rs.20,000 and Rs.50,000, a significantly cheaper as regular laptops. The price of your mini-laptop is dependent on several factors. Both the model you choose, the size of the battery, especially if the stock price affect the memory. So first think about where your preference (how much memory, operating system) to go out and make for yourself a good balance between price and quality you want.

    Other options

All well and good, but obviously you want to know whether your mini-laptop is something special. Most models today have a built-in webcam, which you can video chat. Pay attention to the number of megapixels, the higher this number, the sharper image you have. There are also many other special features which you can watch. Example of the mini-laptop has a built-in modem (eventually with the possibility of stabbing a SIM card, so you also can call them), how the security works, what programs are installed and which not (eg Open Office, Thunderbird, Firefox, Outlook), or the mini-laptop also uses a touchscreen (rarely the case) and whether there are special features or buttons that you press an example in your e-mail to activate. Please also note that most mini-notebooks lack a built-in CD drive available. That need not necessarily be a problem, because you can always be an external CD / DVD drive there to buy.
