    Hi,

I shows up a corrupted image. The camera is not so old so I am not understanding the problem. First the image corruption issue and now I cannot format the CF card which is showing up right protection error. I will have to anyhow format it to make it work. I am using a Canon camera. The problem can be worse. It is possible that you CF card is defective and you need a replacement here. The partition table in the card are corrupted. But you can try to fix them out. First attach the card and then click on Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Device Management > Disk Management. In the Disk Management option you will see all your listed partitions. Right click on the card and then select format. If this does not work then download and use Partition Wizard software for the same purpose.

You will have to ensure that formatting will delete all you data. It will be better if you can format that in your Digital Camera. The camera can repair the card unless the format option is not grayed out. If it is then you card is damaged. If not then try this solution. Insert the card in your camera. Go in the menu by pressing the menu button. Navigate to CF Card and press the right arrow. You can see a format option here. Select it and give yes. If it is formatted then you card might perform back again.

The image is corrupted due to multiple reasons. First I will list you some suggestion due to which a image is damaged. So that you can ensure proper use of the card next time. The image usually damages if the camera is turned off by the user of due to battery before the image is processed properly. If your clicking a image at extremely low battery life. If you are trying to take a second picture before the first picture is processed completely. The only way to repair a damage card is going in My Computer and then right click on that. Select format. Otherwise replace it.
