One end supports high speed, powered eSATA (3Gb/s connectivity, 5 times faster than a standard USB 2.0 drive) and the other end supports USB 2.0. The ultra-fast transfer speed, high capacity and small size makes it a great replacement for a bulky external Hard Drive.

The e-Flash’s Power Over eSATA interface allows it to be connected to a powered eSATA port, eliminating the need for an external power supply. The included Power + eSATA bracket is installed on your desktop computer and provides you with a powered eSATA port for use with the Kanguru eFlash. Additional Power + eSATA brackets can be purchased separately for installation on all your desktop computers or a Power + eSATA ExpressCard is available for laptop users at an additional cost. Several new laptop models come with a USB/eSATA combo port which can also be used as a powered eSATA port.
