It is better to install Chipset driver first, then other drivers of device hardware such as Ethernet Driver, Audio Driver, Graphics Driver, and finally drivers external devices. , Run the file. "EXE" that you select and install the driver according to the directions in the context menu. The files will be installed in the file C:\Drivers default.

    Run diagnostics on the audio.

    • For ThinkPad A, R, T, and X series systems: run the PC Doctor diagnostics. You can access PC Doctor for DOS by pressing the F11 key or the Access IBM button during startup to access the predesktop menu area. If these methods are not available for your system, then you can download PC Doctor for DOS
    • For ThinkPad ThinkPad 600, 600E, 770, 770E/ED, 770X, and 770Z systems: Press and hold the F1 key, then turn on the computer. Hold the F1 key until the Easy-Setup menu appears. If a password prompt appears, type the correct password.

    Select Test.
Click Audio and DSP to test the built-in audio.
