How to increase cell phone bitrate voice

I am having Sony Ericsson Mobile phone with me, when i am trying to make any calls i was facing some issue. For that i had showed it to my friend and he told me that there is an Low bit rate Voice issue with my cell phone. I am facing this issue from few days only. Does anyone know what do in Low rate rate issue.

Normally you face this issue because ATM cells divided into fractional segments and the header of each standard ATM cell is also the header of the first fraction of a divided cell and each successive fraction of the cell has a header structured as a standard ATM cell header. It also identifies the ATM connection multiplexing several low-rate sub-flows as well as the sub-flow to which the first fraction pertains to.

To increase your mobile phone bit rate for that you need to follow the belwo steps:-

• First you need to dial ##778.
• Then Tap on "Edit" and enter Unlock Code as 000000
• Now goto menu where it says Display over here select CDMA Settings
• Click and hold on the "EVRC Enabled" line under the Settings column
• Then select Edit
• Switch to Disabled and press OK
• Again click and hold on the Home Page line under the Settings column
• Select Edit and switch to Voice 13k
• Repeat for Home Orig and Roam Orig and you would be able to increase but rate voice of a mobile phone.
