With 6.3 effective megapixels, true photographic quality has finally been brought to the digital domain. A huge 22.7 x 15.1mm imaging area is the first advantage you'll notice. The EOS D60’s viewfinder contains a new superimposed display as found in some of the higher-end EOS analogue SLR’s. The partial metering circle and the illuminated AF points are now both visible in the viewfinder. As well as information on shutter speed, aperture, maximum burst during continuous shooting, CF card information, exposure level, flash information and autofocus confirmation. But not only the inside has been upgraded, the black outer case with metallic accents give the camera an extra touch of class.
