    VSX-819H-K Pioneer Amplifier, AV Receiver

This amp has a value for money with its HD decoders, its sound and a USB jack for iPod.

This model is part of the new 9 Series and Pioneer just to stay between references VSX-519V (entry level) and VSX-919AH / VSX-1019AH (7.1 decoders and power revised upwards).

Perfect illustration of what can be expected from a mid-range model, it offers the High Definition Dolby True HD and DTS-HD, 3 HDMI 1.3 (1080p/24) and a USB port for connecting USB flash drive MP3 player or iPod (directly via the supplied cable). Sound side, this is not bad either with 5 x 130 W, well enough to get angry with their neighbors ...

On the functional side, we note the presence of the Advanced Sound Retriever which give a fillip to compressed formats such MP3. Auto Level Control (active stereo) will adjust the sound level depending on the tracks and sources. The MCACC, is a process of automatic acoustic calibration system in relation to the conditions and instead of listening through the microphone provided.

    Optimum high definition quality.

High Definition Audio supportedEnjoy a full HD viewing experience with rich sound that complements the images on screen. The VSX-819H is the perfect partner for your Blu-ray Disc player, with built in Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding.

This high performance AV receiver comes with an HDMI Repeater: a single HDMI cable is all you need to transfer both video and audio digitally to the receiver.

Up to 1080p video signals are supported, as well as x.v.Colour and Deep Colour for vibrant, lifelike colours with smooth gradient transitions.

Made for iPod. Works with iPhoneA digital iPod USB connection provides direct plug-and-play enjoyment of all tracks stored on your iPod or iPhone, without the need for a docking station (an iPod/iPhone video and USB audio cable is included). The audio connection is digital, which guarantees transfer without intermediate digital-to-analogue, analogue-to-digital conversions; what you hear is pure.

Advanced Sound RetrieverWhen playing music from your iPhone, iPod or other MP3 player, you are guaranteed an enhanced sound.

The Advanced Sound Retriever, which ‘upscales’ the quality of compressed audio to closely match the original source, and the Auto Level Control, which compensates for volume fluctuations between songs or sources, both work to deliver a dynamic and full sound.
