Acer All-in-one Aspire Z5600 Personal Computer

The world's third PC vendor, Acer has announced the launch of the all-in-one Acer Aspire Z5600 PC with a 24-inch display and a "sought-after design". Said to be engineered to "maximize the full promise" of Windows 7, the Aspire Z5600 offers full touchscreen capabilities.

With the new Aspire Z5600, Acer decided to take things a step further and deliver a product that would seriously give Apple's iMac a run for its money. It boasts a large 1080p-capable 24-inch display with multitouch capabilities and an integrated TV Tuner. Despite no word on the system's processing unit, we are told that the Z5600 will provide support for up to 2TB of storage space and will be equipped with a combo DVD/Blu-ray optical drive.

Currently we have no official details on the pricing of Acer's new All-in-Ones, but, according to the company's press release, the Z5600 is designed to provide users with an affordable AIO computing experience and is ready for Microsoft's next-generation Windows 7 operating system.

Starting applications, navigating through menu options, selecting and browsing through files can be achieved with the touch of a finger. Even managing and browsing through audio, video, data and image files can be done by the touch method. The latest silver Aspire Z5600 is packed with loads of multimedia features like TV tuner which allows consumers to view and even record their favorite TV programs. A built-in webcam lets users stay in touch with friends and family through video calls. A DVD/Blu-Ray player integrated into the PC has the ability to play and burn movies, songs and videos.
