Fn key on laptop is locked

I have a Comapq Evo laptop and the Fn key on laptop is locked .

Now there are numbers instead of letter like when i j there is 5 etc . I have tried using PS@ keyboard and it worked but when i switch to keyboard it is the same , I have to press Fn+shift+J to get the "J"

Please help me How can i Unlock Fn key

Sounds like a hardware issue. Is there a "Function Lock" button you can press while you hold it down?

The only idea I can come up with is to check the BIOS for an option to always turn that key on/off.

If you’re writing numbers instead of letters when you press the keyboard of your laptop and you must hold down the Function key (Fn) to write normally.

This is due to the fact that the digital lock is activated. To solve this, simply press the Fn+Numlk or depending of the model, press the button or Fn + Shift +Numlk

Try pressing CTRL and the function key together.

Also try SHIFT and function key together.
