The new generation of chipsets Radeon HD 5000 (RV870) has finally been announced by AMD / ATI, so it's been months and months. Engraved with a fineness of 40 nm chipsets Radeon HD 5850 and Radeon HD 5870 are associated with 1GB of GDDR5 memory standard on a 256 bit bus and have a number of stream processors revised upwards. Technology Stream Technology, CrossFireX, Avivo HD are of course still the party but it is the support of DirectX 11 API and its various features which should be one of the main advantages of these new cards from the competition is behind this.

If you are using the GPU-Z, then your BIOS should be somewhat like :

You can then flash the gpu-z on if your frequencies are 750/900.

The purpose is really to flash these cards is to unlock the BIOS so you can rock the voltage of the GPU and often exceed the figures set by ATI. Before proceeding you must and need to have ready the following requirements :
    • And most important, if you have a motherboard with integrated graphics (IGP) are the most dangerous, you should turn off the VGA from the bios to set it aside, but ATI flash, stop the process and will mean that send it to warranty.
    • It is important to back up the bios.
    • You need a USB stick, make sure that our board has the ability to do a boot from USB and now we get into the programs that you need do it all.

To modify the bios if you can do for software, modify the voltages and apply the overclocking for gaming or normal benches and let to be in Windows.
