    Creating Molex using USB cable

    Hello Guys !

I am much interested with hardware and networking and i need some guidance from all of you regrading hardware utilization. In this scenario,I need some guides and if you all have some steps then please post me.

    Creating Molex using USB cable

You can make the molex using the USB cable but you need some guidance and tutorials.

You need to follow some step to construct this strategy and needs to have some hardware tools to do this. This is for common persons in which every modder's would use the USB cable and find it with some cool, useless, USB that they want to put inside of their computer without consuming a USB port.

    Requirements to creating Molex

There are some hardware requirements are necessary to create the Molex cable. You need to have all this when you are going to create the Molex cable.

The thins are listed here -

1- Single spare USB cable (with male A and B ends),
    2- soldering iron, solder,
3- Heatshrink (best) or electrical tape,
4- wire clippers of some sort.

These would be required during this operation.

This is the steps described below through which you can create the molex to USB cables.

We are not required to have and use the 12v pins,we requires too cheap to buy a Molex pin remover. So we can use a pen of ball point. no, ink color doesn’t issue and get cracking. What we need out of that whole ordeal is the ink reservoir. The back (keyword, back, you don’t want ink on your Molex pins fits perfectly over the pins! imagine that.

If you are ready with ball pen and appropriate molex cable and stuff then you should keep the working on.

So you need push it in several methods and then pull the wire out from the back. The two of them wires which you desired to pull are 12v and the other are nearest to 12v.Now all above suggested task would be done then you are left with a interactive 5v only Molex connector.

Now,jump to the next for implementing your operation on our USB cables which has two ends named "A" and another is "B".we want to keep the entire thing as it is and just cut off the end of "A".The Wire "A" contains four wires and one shield.Remove all the wires except black and red.

Now we have two red wires and as well as two black wires. You need to plug now and before doing that you have to keep the heat-shrink on BEFORE you solder.

If everything has done then you need another thing if that is not contained in your computer internals. You will need a USB motherboard adapter and a resistor of any value. The resistor are doesn’t any issue as long as it has leads.
